A special note from The Heart2Heart Foundation

We never imagined when we launched the Back2School Block Party in York County back in 2016 that it would grow as it has. We have met hundreds of families over the years, distributed thousands of book bags with school supplies and helped provide free health screenings for adults and youth alike. 

​

Keeping health and wellness as the foundation of our annual event has been a commitment from day one. We have been blessed to have so many community partners that share this same mission. In addition to helping families get ready for the new school year, one of our goals through the Back2School Block Party is to connect parents and guardians with the agencies and resources who can help them with the challenges they may have. It's one thing to give advice about what parents and students should do for a healthy and productive school year, but we felt like it was also our responsibility to make sure they know about the incredible organizations who are dedicated to this purpose!

This year, the biggest change will be that we will not require pre-registration. We will have book bags with school supplies available to families on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last. Our Sponsors and Community Sponsors will also have additional giveaways for adults and youth. 

​

Children must attend with parents or guardians to receive a free book bag with school supplies. Limit one book bag per child.
